"unquestionably beautiful and haunting"

Thanks to Kate MacDonald for the kind review that appears in the first issue of Paraphilia Magazine

I have to admit to a sense of pleasure at observing the difficulty people seemingly have – even when it results in uncomfortable or erroneous comparisons- in describing what it is that is going on in the recordings (those, that is, who at least make an effort to consider it – many reviewers don’t) To me it is tantamount to justification of the methods employed and one of the underlying reasons for making the recordings that make it so hard to find effective, accurate linguistic terms to represent the sound. The sound, after all, exists explicitly to sit beyond standard temporal word narratives.
