Wanderlust addressed

I indicated a short while back that my brain and senses were twitching with what I could only assume was the first stirring of this year’s wanderlust. in the short time since that post I have now secured events to happen in Baltimore and Pittsburgh – neither of which I have visited before. I have a brief stop off in NYC before coming back over the Atlantic to spend a night with my wife and son before getting back into a plane and heading south south south to a place called Blantyre, in Malawi, Africa. Morocco has been my only grazing with that continent so I have no idea what to expect. When word got out about this trip – which is not a Human Greed venture exactly – I nevertheless started to get mail from folk in UK and the rest of Europe wanting to know if this was going to be a Human Greed show, and that they would be booking their tickets right away. So, unfortunately i have had to write a lot of mails warning folk not to buy what are incredibly expensive flights. But it does make me wonder about ensuring that the place and time of any live event should be chosen for maximum impact in order to make the time and location itself as attractive a possibility as can be imagined for those prepared to go the extra mile. Well worth keeping in mind.

There is a later trip planned for Norway, and I am in talks right now about a little something in Utah which will be confirmed later this month. I think I am not doing so bad for a man so terrified of flying as I am. I am, I’m sure you’ll agree, very, very brave.
